Hayburn Wyke beach building challenge

The walk was long but we found singing 'Hoo ha, hoo ha' helped. Good thinking Theo!

The challenge: to build the tallest self supporting tower possible. 

We scoured the beach for the best rocks and used all our construction skills to best the opposing teams. But who would win the coveted trophy stone? 

The winners by about 2cm, of the Trophy stone..... 

Luckily there was enough haribo to go round so the loss was only lightly felt by the rest!
